The Knights escaped with a 67-65 victory over X-Men in the ongoing 2016 PSA-Crosstown Auto Centre Spring /Summer Basketball League at the Father Michael Troy gym.
The Knights led by Juffrey Sampaga, who buried 21 points, trailed at the end of the first half, 34-36 but regained their composure at the start of the final half en route to their first win.
In the other games, Team Eswar’s leader Oliver Branzuela found himself in foul trouble and could no longer lead his squad when they needed him the most as they lost to the CRS Force, 86-91.
