City invites input on COVID-19 safety on transit, Alcohol consumption in select river valley parks pilot project and neighbourhood rezonings
The City of Edmonton invites residents’ input into projects, policies and initiatives that grow our communities, establish government services and prepare our city for the future. Below are current opportunities for Edmontonians to shape their city.
Changing neighbourhoods to meet changing needs:
Boyle Street and McCauley Neighbourhood Renewal. Review the detailed maps and design illustrations for the neighbourhood renewal project and provide your feedback through forums, polls and surveys found at engaged.edmonton.ca/buildingboylemccauley until September 30.
Metro 78 rezoning. Share your feedback on a proposed rezoning of properties on the north and south sides of 78 Avenue NW between 114 Street Street and 115 Street NW. The proposed rezoning would allow for the development of two 4-storey low rise residential buildings with ground level commercial space. Feedback accepted online until September 6 at engaged.edmonton.ca/metro78.
Wadhurst Townhomes Rezoning. Share your feedback on a proposed rezoning of properties located at 10321, 10325 & 10335 Wadhurst Road NW. The proposed rezoning would allow for the development of two rowhouse/townhouse style buildings with a total of 11 residential units, each with ground level access. Feedback accepted online until September 6 at engaged.edmonton.ca/WadhurstTownhomes.
Supporting healthier and more inclusive communities:
Safety on Transit. The City invites all residents to complete a short survey about COVID-19 safety on transit. The survey is now live and closes Thursday, August 26.
Defining what Edmonton will look like in the future:
Alcohol consumption in select river valley parks pilot project. The City has launched a 19-week pilot project to allow alcohol consumption at 47 picnic sites in select river valley parks. Submit feedback on the pilot by completing the survey at edmonton.ca/surveys.
City Council Public Hearing on August 31. Edmontonians are invited to speak to Council on bylaws and related reports. Register to speak in person or remotely.
